Fischer soot filter type: LT filter

The LT soot filter was developed to reduce particulate emissions across the entire load range in diesel engines up to around 300 kW. The design and size of the soot filter depend on the engine type, the exhaust gas mass flow and the required reduction in emissions.
When combined with a catalytic coating or a catalytic pre-filter, the following reductions can be achieved:

Carbon monoxide (CO):        < 98 %
Hydrocarbons (HC):               < 95 %
Formaldehyde (CH2O):          < 90 %
Soot particles:                         < 99,99%

Structure
Filter type LT – cylindrical:
The soot filter consists of four components: the soot filter substrate in the housing, the inlet and outlet chambers, the gaskets and the V-shaped brackets.
